The 14th edition of the Festival del Sole opened in Riccione with record number of participants.
The Opening Ceremony of the Festival del Sole—the largest non-competitive event of “Gymnastics fro All” in the Mediterranean—opened on Sunday July 1st, 2018 with the big parade of the 5.700 participants, this year coming from 18 countries: Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Norway, Portugal, San Marino Republic, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
The opening ceremony of the 14th edition of the Festival del Sole was a fantastic show in itself, with performances from a group of artists who collect the essence of the Festival: dance, acrobatics, ballet, theatre, hiphop, break dance, all accompanied with live music. Councilor for Tourism, Sport, Culture and events in the city of Riccione, Stefano Caldari also extended the welcome of the City to all participants of the Festival del Sole.
