The 11th edition of the Festival del Sole will be held in Riccione, Italy, from july 1 to 6, 2012.
The full programme of the event will be released soon, in the meantime here are some usefull informations about the Festival del Sole.

How to participate

Any group of gymnasts can take part, no matter what nationality or age or technical level, as long as it consists of at least 10 people and the exercises are accompanied by music.

To take part at the Festival del Sole you are obliged to purchase the hotel package that we offer, at extremely convenient prices. The cost of the hotel package has be announced during World Gymnaestrada in Lausanne: the cost for the standard 6 night stay in a 2-star hotel in full board accomodation is € 299.00, whilst the 3-star hotel option is € 399.00 (from dinner on Sunday, july 1 to breakfast on Saturday  july 7, 2012).
For every 25 people who sign up one person will receive a free hotel package.

Arenas

There will be four exhibition arenas on the promenade of Riccione. Each arena will feature an extended set of gymnastics equipment, changing rooms  and free audience admittance.
A full list of the equipments available will be provided to the groups upon registration.

Exhibitions

Each team will have the chance to perform twice with a third optional exhibition on request. Rehearsals will be held in the morning following the same programme of the evening show.

The duration of each exhibitions is:

• 7:30 minutes for groups of 10 to 20 athletes;
• 10 minutes for groups of 21 to 35 athletes;
• 15 minutes for groups of over 36 athletes.

There will also be gymnastics workshops in the morning and after show parties on the beach.

Registrations

Registrations will open on December 1st, 2011 and will close at the achievement of 120 teams (about 3,300 athletes).
